So happy with North Park VW...I keep going back!! My previous lease on VW Taos came to an end recently. Product specialst Kat Sargologos started reaching out to me several months prior to assist me with the end of lease process as well as helping me find my next VW. I texted her the models, colors, and options that I was interested in and she found something even better than what I had imagined! When I went to take my Taos, she had a new Tiguan (that had everything on my wish list) ready for me to test drive. She was very friendly, easygoing and knowledgeable. She took the time to go over details on all the features and asked me if I had any questions. I decided to lease the Tiguan, and she helped me set up the app on my phone and made sure I was able to use it. This was my first time purchasing with Northpark VW. But I have purchased with North Park group before. I was in the market for a gently used Subaru outback and was looking at three Outbacks at different dealerships. On the day that I went to purchase, I was test driving each one. North Park Volkswagen was my last stop. I was greeted by The sales person Kat, who I had been communicating with for the past 2 weeks. She was able to work with my tight schedule and quickly get me into a test drive. Even though this was a Volkswagen dealership she was very well versed in the Outback. She was very personable, and understood my concerns with getting a used vehicle. No pushy sells tactics, just informed purchasing experience. It has been about 5 months since purchasing this vehicle. And I am very happy. I am actually in the market for another vehicle soon and definitely going back to Kat!

I purchased a used 2023 F-150 from this dealer within the last few weeks and had two significant issues during and after the purchase and it remains to be seen what the dealership will do to correct them. To start, it was not made clear to me there was only a valet type key available for the truck until after the paperwork had already been signed and I was getting ready to leave with my family in the truck. The salesman walked up to thank me for my business and to congratulate me on the new vehicle. This is when it was first made apparent to me the valet type key we had used to test drive the vehicle earlier was the only one they had, and it was only clarified when I had asked the salesman where the other key I thought they had was, since we were about to leave. I was under the impression this was intentional and was not the only key available for the truck, but was likely only being used for the test drive. Again, for clarification, it was not made clear to me until after the purchase had already been completed that this was the only key available for the truck. This means there is no key fob features, period. There are no buttons on this key and I cannot lock or unlock the vehicle from anywhere but the door keyhole and the alarm will go off if I do not insert this key into the ignition within 5 seconds or so of the truck unlocking. I now have to pay an additional $500+ for a locksmith or for Ford themselves to make me an actual key fob. I likely would not have purchased this vehicle if I knew in the first place that this was the only key. Perhaps I am to blame for not asking sooner. Second, the truck began having issues with the auto start/stop function as I was driving it into work the next day. This feature was disabled during the test drive before we left the parking lot by the salesman and I am under the impression that this may have been intentional in order to hide the issue. Hopefully I am wrong about that and it was just a coincidence. After diagnosing, I found the battery that was installed last month, according to the date on the battery itself, was significantly undersized and only has a cold cranking amperage of around 500, when these trucks require around 800. According to the CarFax, this date on the battery indicates the dealer would have likely been the ones who had installed it. To put it plainly, this could have not only fried many of the components in the vehicle, but could have left my family and myself stranded. I have contacted the salesman and said I believe it would be best if they at a minimum reimbursed me for the new, correct battery purchase I had to make within the first 2 days of ownership and this seems to slowly be in the works, as the salesman I have been communicating with has said it is in process. It has been over a week and I have no certain confirmation of whether or not this is happening, but I would like to believe it will and am waiting. The key fob situation is up in the air and not something I have asked for help with, but also do not like the lack of transparency about it being the only key in the first place. If the dealer now chooses to help out with this as a result of this review, I would of course be happy to have their help. I do not intend to get anyone into trouble with this, but want others to be aware of the experience I have had so far. I believe it is a dealer's responsibility to own up to any errors or mistakes that occurred, especially in regards to a vehicle this expensive, and to take corrective actions. EDIT: I have just confirmed last night some suspicions I had about this vehicle having an aftermarket alarm system installed. This is likely why there is only one valet type key. The unfortunate part of this is I could see parts dangling below the glovebox in one of the photos that was posted in the ad for this truck and when I asked the salesman what it was, I was essentially told it was taken care of. Now I have to deal with this possibly interfering with getting new keys made.
